God’s Sovereignty

Has your strength failed you yet or do you sometimes feel like you’re incapacitated to do certain things? Well, I have good news for you! Once you get to a point where your own strength and ability isn’t enough to salvage you, when you acknowledge your inabilities, you get to a point where you recognize God’s ability and divine authority to handle your situation!

Learn to believe God’s ability to take you through the situation you may be going through because his sovereignty works best when we have complete faith in Him and totally surrender ourselves to the Lordship of his word.

Trusting in him makes us aware of his power.Trust in God’s perfect will for your life and insist that you shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Move from fear to faith, trust in God’s sovereignty.

I am reminded of a woman with the issue of blood, irrespective of the multitude of people who were pressing on Jesus, she made a decision within herself that I’m going to fasten onto faith that if only I can touch the herm of his garment then my condition will go away (Luke 8:43 – 48).

We also learn of a man whose daughter was very sick but he trusted in the Lord. We see him with Jesus and as he was trying to explain the situation to the master, he received some disturbing news that his daughter had passed but it never moved his faith. He believed that if only Jesus can speak a word his daughter will come back to life (Mark 5:22 – 43).

Jesus has the power and authority to resurrect. I hear him saying only if you can trust me and put your faith in me I shall resurrect hope in your life no matter how hopeless your situation may appear in the eyes of others but I the Lord have the Power to resurrect hope in the lives of my people (Rom 10:11).

What you allow to govern your life matters”.

Have you ever wondered the implications of clinging your ear to negativity, how your life would have turned out to be if you haven’t heard or succumbed to all negativity you been hearing

Life has taught me to release my ears from hearing negativity, destructive remarks, false rumors and acts of stupidity. I learnt to open my eyes and my mind to think ahead of my life, to learn more of who I am.

Most people always think the enemy comes in a form of some unseen spiritual thing but reality is an enemy is anything that speaks negativity and failure upon your life. Anything that tries to exalt itself in your life, anything that shifts you from your God given assignment.

An enemy is someone who increases, strengthens, encourages, or enables an area of weakness in you that God wants to remove from your life. Anything you hang onto that God wants you to drop is an enemy.”

Faith Definition According To Faith The Graced”.

Faith comes by hearing, not by seeing. (Rom 10:17) Most people think the opposite of faith is doubt. Not true,The opposite of faith is sight. The enemy wants you to live by something that you saw, something that contradicted what God said about you.”

Most people are likely to be victims of the enemy’s schemes because they have held on to sight and unless we understand that faith goes beyond the physical will forever be victims of what the enemy is trying to achieve in the lives of God’s people.

I have always been inspired by this scripture 2 Cor5:7(For we walk by faith, not by sight)because I knew what I was, and also seeing at that present moment was nothing compared to what God has instore for me.This scripture has always propelled me to see the bigger picture of life.Throughout my varsity days it has kept me going and has always refueled my energy irregardless of the challenges I encountered.

If you can beat it in your mind, you can beat it in your life.”
